Microsoft Hacking STEM is a free, accessible resource for teachers to modernize their current STEM curriculum. Its project-based activities cover assignments in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). And, at its core, it reinforces lessons of creativity, resourcefulness, and ingenuity through the use of household materials and common electronic components.

The challenge was to redesign the Microsoft Hacking STEM site to incorporate the foundations of Hacking STEM—creativity, resourcefulness, and ingenuity—while leveraging the latest design principles of Microsoft's Fluent Design language.
